Maliboozer Barbie
Number: 1971
With JCRG Since: 2009
Position: Jammer, Blocker
|
Bio: The 1980s were the perfect time to be a rich, spoiled teenager in Malibu; designer clothes, a dream house and even her own pink Corvette were just a few of the things Barbie took for granted. Heiress to the Mattel fortune, her family was loaded, and everyone thought her life was perfect.
Then one day, while cruising down Sunset on her way to a modeling job, she saw him: one of those Hollywood rockers her parents warned her about. Intrigued, she heard a shout from behind her: "Hey Tommy, check that out, man!"
The man she had been staring at turned around to yell back at his friend, who looked like his ratty, leather-decked clone but with bleach-blonde hair. "What, Vince, where?!" Following Vince's gaze, he locked eyes with Barbie. "Oh!"
Caught at the red light, Barbie was petrified. Sidling over to her Corvette, he winked and smiled. "Hey baby, you wanna go somewhere?" Bashfully meeting his eyes, Barbie stammered. "Like.....totally."
Barbie's whole world turned upside down. She abandoned high society for the party scene, where she shocked everyone with a whole new look and a serious wild side. Her hair got bigger, her heels got higher and her skirts got shorter, but above all, she loved to rock out. This even earned her a new nickname, combining her silver spoon upbringing, plastic-cup emptying and doll-like appearance: Maliboozer Barbie.
But the party couldn't last forever. When she secretly took off to follow her favorite band to Europe, her parents had finally had enough. They sent a bodyguard to bring her back, and quietly shipped her off to reform school to dry out and shape up, or so they thought. Little did they know that she wasn't the only girl smuggling Aquanet and a flask into school: Maliboozer Barbie was about to meet the Pink Pistols...
