Black Dahlia Bio
Hollywood is a tough town
I was lured west by the lights of Hollywood. I sought fame and fortune but found the sharp end of a knife instead. Bisected and exsanguinated, they thought they'd heard the last of me... But I'm back from the dead, looking to exact vengeance upon the living. I discovered that roller derby is the only way i can satiate my bloodlust, so I joined the L.A. Derby Dolls. But, after two years in the City of Angels, and skating with the amazing Fight Crew, wanderlust got the better of me. I found my way to Auckland, New Zealand, where i founded the Pirate City Rollers, which has grown in leaps and bounds since i departed dearly in December 2006. After a brief stint back east, where i was a member of Gotham's Brooklyn Bombshells for a milisecond, I tried my luck out west again, joining the Jet City Rollergirls' teal-clad Hula Honeys team. And in typical workaholic fashion, I founded a roller derby magazine, Blood & Thunder, with my partner in crime, Robin Graves (www.bloodandthundermag.com). I always say I'll sleep when I'm dead, but if that's the case, shouldn't I be sleeping now?
